With your new MEPHISTO Mirage you have entered into the world of modern chess computers because from this moment onwards you will have a brand new chess computer system available to you for your enjoyment: the MEPHISTO MODULAR SYSTEM. This new family comprises of the MEPHISTO Mirage, MEPHISTO Mobil, MEPHSITO Modular and the MEPHSITO Exclusive. You can swap and play your module in all these systems! This allows you to use your Mirage as a travel computer or switch it to a noble hardwood chess board.

About the Game Module

MEPHISTO Mirage Module has seven preprogrammed playing levels plus one user defined level which allows you define the amount of time per move, between 1 second to 59 minutes and 59 seconds. In addition the MEPHISTO Mirage has a problem level which allows you to setup problem or mate search positions up to Mate-in-8 half moves.

Written by Thomas Nitsche and Elmar Henne, Mephisto Mirage was first sold in 1985.
